Entry Level Fully Automatic Capping Machine

The Nexus entry-level automatic capper is a twist-on cap capping machine for low to medium speed bottling lines, running up to 20 containers per minute. It is the smallest fully automatic model in the Nexus capping machine range, and the usual first step for a producer moving off hand capping or a semi-automatic benchtop capper.

What it does

Filled containers arrive on the conveyor. Loose caps are tipped into a vibratory bowl, which orients them and feeds them to a servo-driven pick and place head. The head picks a cap, places it on the container and tightens it to a preset torque in one action. Each cap is tightened to the same torque, which doubles as a quality check: every closure is tight enough to seal and loose enough for the customer to open.

When to choose the next model up
