Fully Automatic Top and Bottom Labelling Machine

The Nexus top and bottom labeller is a fully automatic labelling machine for flat-surfaced packs, applying a label to the top face and the underside in one pass at up to 60 packs per minute. It is the flat-pack model in the Nexus labelling machine range, built for boxes, cartons, trays and flat pouches where the underside carries a barcode or compliance panel.

What it does

Packs travel on a split conveyor. The top applicator wipes a label onto the upper face and the bottom applicator, mounted between the belts, applies a second label to the underside at the same time. Both labels are placed in register with the pack edge. An optional thermal transfer printer on either head prints variable data such as batch numbers, dates and barcodes onto the label as it is applied, at full line speed.

Who it suits

Food producers labelling trays and flat packs, pharmaceutical and nutraceutical cartons, e-commerce and contract packers applying dispatch and compliance labels, and any line where a barcode has to sit on the base of the pack. It runs after a flow wrapper or tray sealer and ahead of cartoning.
