High Speed In Line Fully Automatic Capping Machine

The Nexus high-speed in-line capper is a fully automatic capping machine for medium to high speed bottling lines, running up to 40 containers per minute. One machine handles twist-on caps, trigger sprayers and pump caps, which makes it the most versatile model in the Nexus capping machine range.

What it does

Containers arrive in single file on the conveyor. A vibratory bowl sorts and orients the caps and feeds them to a pick and place unit driven by a Yaskawa servo system, which places each cap accurately on the container before the tightening station turns it down to a preset torque. Because placement and tightening are separate stations, the machine holds its speed on awkward closures such as trigger sprayers and pumps as well as plain screw caps.
