High Speed Punnet / Trays Labelling Machine

The Nexus punnet and tray labeller is a high-speed labelling machine with an integrated denester, applying labels to punnets, tubs and trays at up to 100 per minute. It is the produce and tub model in the Nexus labelling machine range, built for lines where punnets arrive nested in stacks and leave labelled and accumulated ready for filling or packing.

What it does

A stack of empty punnets is loaded into the denester, which separates one punnet at a time and places it on the conveyor. The labelling station applies a label to one side or two, in register with the punnet edge. A collecting system then arranges the labelled punnets and an accumulating conveyor buffers them so the downstream filler or packer sees a steady flow with no gaps. The whole sequence runs without an operator touching a punnet.
