Nexus Dual Auger Stand Up Pouch Machine with Dual Micro Auger

The Nexus dual auger stand-up pouch machine is a premade pouch filling machine for powder products, with a two-stage auger dosing system that tops up each fill with a micro auger accurate to plus or minus 1 percent on doses as small as 2 g. It is the powder model in the Nexus pouch filling machine range, built for protein, supplement and pharmaceutical powders where fill weight is tightly specified.

Dual auger dosing

• Primary auger: doses the bulk of the fill quickly.
• Secondary micro auger: adds a fine top-up dose, down to 2 g, at plus or minus 1 percent accuracy.

Splitting the fill into a fast bulk dose and a precise top-up gives high throughput without the weight variation a single large auger produces on small fills. It also lets one machine cover a wide range of pack weights without changing the auger.

How the machine works

1. Pouch denesting: separates and positions individual stand-up pouches from the magazine.
2. Pouch pre-opening: opens each pouch for clean, accurate filling.
3. Dual-stage filling: bulk dose from the primary auger, top-up from the micro auger.
4. Sealing: heat seals the pouch to preserve freshness and integrity.
5. Seal cooling: sets the seal for durability.
6. Ejection: delivers finished pouches to the outfeed for coding, labelling or cartoning.
